South Carolina Elopement & Intimate Wedding Photographer
For Wild-Hearted Couples Who Want to Do Things Their Own Way
Carly Adalyn Photography
A South Carolina based Elopement & Intimate Wedding photographer
Hey, I’m Carly — your go-to South Carolina elopement and intimate wedding photographer, here for couples who’d rather skip the ballroom and say “I do” somewhere that feels real and true to you — like the top of a mountain, near a waterfall, or right in your own backyard with your favorite people.
I specialize in adventurous elopements and intimate weddings across South Carolina and North Carolina — from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Upstate’s hidden gems and beyond.
My photography style is relaxed, natural, and guided just enough to make sure you feel confident and comfortable — with space for the real, emotional moments to unfold. You won’t just get pretty photos. You’ll get a story — your story.
So if you’re dreaming of a Greenville SC elopement, a North Carolina mountain wedding, or a one-of-a-kind adventure to start your next chapter, I’d love to help you plan it — and capture every moment along the way.
Real Love. Real Moments. Real Words
What past couples have to sayCarly did an amazing job on our photos. She was easy to talk to and made us feel super comfortable. Our photos came out so great! She was so helpful in the wedding planning process and was so willing to change anything at anytime."

"Where should I begin? From the very first phone call, Carly became a friend. I shopped around for wedding photographers for weeks, looking at all styles, all price ranges, and everything included. Carly's website popped up as an ad on my Facebook page, most of the time I scroll right past them, but I clicked anyway - it was definitely fate. Carly's website was super easy to maneuver through, and she was super quick to respond! Her galleries were everything that I wanted and more. I told her my vision and she helped me figure out the vibe I wanted for both my engagement session and my wedding. She is so much fun and always has a smile on her face, no matter what. It definitely made my day so much easier knowing that she had everything handled! She helped with my day-of anxiety having a detailed timeline of pictures, and even had her second shooter there to make sure I had all of the pictures I asked for (and the surprise pictures I didn't ask for, but treasure in the end.) Our golden hour pictures are to DIE for. I will recommend Carly until I'm blue in the face! If you want a photographer that cares about you as a person, not just a bride, choose Carly!"

"The best wedding photographer in Upstate SC!! Carly was an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Her communication was top notch. She sent us detailed online forms to plan for both our engagement session and wedding day to make sure we got all the shots we wanted. Carly is also incredibly friendly and down to earth. From the first time I spoke with her on FaceTime I could tell how much she cares about her clients. On top of all of this, her photos are AMAZING!! After we received the sneak peak of our engagement photos I knew we had nothing to worry about for our wedding day. And boy, was I right! Our wedding photos are timeless and the quality is top tier. Better than I could have ever imagined! I'm so happy we decided to hire Carly, and I would 1000% recommend her to anyone who's looking for a wedding photographer."

"Carly Adalyn Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding day! From our first interaction, Carly was responsive, helpful, and friendly, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. Her expertise and experience were evident in the amazing photographs she captured – she truly has an eye for detail and an understanding of how to beautifully document our special day! It felt like having our best friend there with us, as Carly was prepared but not at all pushy, seamlessly blending into the background to capture all the little moments that made our wedding day so memorable. We are thrilled to have Carly as our wedding photographer and can't wait to use her for family milestones in the future!"

"Where to begin… one of your biggest worries on your Wedding Day is the photographer. Will they make you feel comfortable so the pictures don’t look awkward? Will they get all the candid shots on the dance floor that truly paint the joy on all of your loved one’s faces? We had never met Carly prior to wedding day, and within 5 minutes she answered every question. She cracked jokes, laughed with us and at us, and was in the perfect spot for every photo. She truly made our Wedding Day perfect, and her photos will be around our house for years to come!"

What is Elopement & Intimate Wedding photography?
An elopement is a small and intimate wedding. It could be just you two or up to 30 people. Your elopement should be all about you and the person you’re marrying. This is about celebrating your marriage in a way that you want and authentic to you two as a couple.
Where can an elopement take place?
An elopement can be ANYWHERE. Your backyard, beach, city, mountains, the sky is the limit.
Is a micro wedding the same thing as intimate wedding or elopement ?
Yes, however I don’t like use to use the term micro. There’s nothing tiny about your day because you choose not invite 100 people.
Where to book your elopement photos in South Carolina?
There are so many beautiful locations to elope in SC. South Carolina is full of scenic views for everyone. Head south to Charleston, SC for beaches and take a row boat ride at Cypress Gardens. The same place Noah rowed Ally to see the geese in The Notebook ! In the upstate SC we have amazing mountain top views and breath taking waterfalls. Some are even short, non strenuous hikes so anyone can get those elopement views who isn’t an average hiker. Pretty Place Chapel is another breath taking place to elope. An out door covered chapel facing the mountains makes for such beautiful images. Not far from there is Bald Rock and Caesar’s Head.
When is the best time to elope?
It all depends on what you two want. Do you like to hike snow capped mountains? Do you like to play in the waterfalls in the summer? Do you love the peek fall leave colors? We help you design your whole day!
For the Wild-in-Love, Do-It-Your-Way Kind of Couples
Why Elopement Photos Matter
Here’s the truth: your elopement is still your wedding day. It may not have the guest list or the giant reception, but it has something even better — just the two of you, completely present, doing things your way. And that? That’s worth documenting.
As a South Carolina elopement photographer (and a big fan of breaking traditions), I believe your love story deserves to be captured with just as much care, heart, and creativity as any big wedding. Whether you’re hiking to a mountaintop, exchanging vows in the woods, or running barefoot on the beach — these are the real, raw, unforgettable moments you’ll want to look back on for a lifetime.
Elopement photography isn’t just about pretty pictures — it’s about preserving your experience.
The nerves before your vows. The wind in your hair. The laughter, the quiet, the joy. Your photos tell the story of how you got married — not just what it looked like.

Instead, you get to focus on what matters most: your love, your commitment, and the adventure you’re starting together.
Whether you’re dreaming up a Greenville SC elopement, planning a mountain elopement in North Carolina or South Carolina, or crafting a day that’s a little offbeat and totally you — I’ll be there to document the whole wild, wonderful thing.
