Brooke and Grant flew all the way from Washington state to celebrate their marriage with their closest friends and family. After privately eloping in Washington, they chose to gather their loved ones for an unforgettable wedding celebration in WNC.
The couple’s decision to celebrate in North Carolina brought a sense of warmth and intimacy to their wedding. And despite the August skies being overcast, the weather was absolutely ideal—cloudy, cool, and comfortable. Perfect lighting for dreamy wedding photos, and even better for dancing the night away under the stars.
Love, Laughter, and a Lot of Dancing
Just after saying “I do,” Brooke and Grant snuck away for a few sweet minutes during cocktail hour—just the two of them. With plates in one hand and cocktails in the other, they shared some bites tucked away from the crowd. It wasn’t just about the food (though it was delicious)—it was about slowing down, holding hands, and soaking in that “just married” feeling. A quiet, joy-filled pause before the dance floor came calling.
Once the formalities were over, the real celebration began. Brooke and Grant’s reception was full of energy, laughter, and non-stop dancing. If we had ended coverage after the first dances or cake cutting, so much of that emotion and energy would have been missed.
